The lens probe is shorter than competitive models for improved comfort and is constructed so that it can be wiped clean after use with a antibacterial wipe or soft cloth moistened with alcohol rather than using replacement lens covers. These features combined with the fact that it only enters the outer ear canal helps to reduce the risk of infection so that it can be used with confidence in any environment. Infra-Red Ear Thermometer The ear thermometer is a device capable of achieving infra-red temperature measurement when placed in the auditory canal of a subject. It is a safe means of measuring the human body temperature through the ear. The ear thermometer is very easy to operate and provides very accurate and very fast readings.
